Hi,
I understand your concern
delayed period can occur without pregnancy ( pregnancy test -ve after 8 days delay in menses .) in hormonal imbalance (hypothyroidism/ ovarian cysts/ PCOD).Due to hormonal imbalance nausea/ breast soreness/ mood variations also are evident.
I would suggest to exclude pregnancy ( to clear your doubt ) by blood HCG testing.
Consult a gynecologist for physical check up/ investigations ( thyroid function test/ USG abdomen ) to pin point the cause of the irregularity & start with specific treatment.
Thanks.
